This programmable in-feed on the Single Axis Internal CNC Cylindrical Grinder is suitable for grinding straight, formed, and tapered type workpieces . The worktable feed movement is controlled with hydraulics which has infinitely variable speed, and this movement is fed back to the controller.
The GE/Fanuc CNC controller operates one axis, the in-feed on the wheelhead. The system has the necessary hardware to be fitted with an In-process gauging system to complete automatic sizing of the workpiece.
Programming is a "G" code format and the storage is large enough that multiple programs can be stored. The system can be programmed to plunge or traverse grind with a course and/or fine feed, plus spark-out. This will give you the flexibility needed to keep up with today’s technology in the manufacturing industry.
